Service Projects |

NUMMI
team members are dedicated community
partners. Twice a year, in the
spring and fall, NUMMI sponsors
a service project in communities
where many of our team members
live (South Bay, East Bay, Tri-Valley).
Since 1993 several hundred team
members have volunteered for projects
benefiting schools, day care centers,
seniors, families in need and
the environment.

a year to nonprofit organizations
throughout the Bay Area and surrounding
areas. Hundreds of charitable

has donated some 75 vehicles to
the Regional Occupational Programs
as well as local government agencies.

encourage volunteerism and community
involvement, NUMMI grants $250
to nonprofit groups for whom team
members actively volunteer. More
than $25,000 in grants is awarded
annually.

Stars |

The
Community Stars program recognizes
team members who commit extraordinary
time and effort to the community
through volunteerism. Up to five
team members are chosen as Community
Stars annually. Each receives
a $1,000 donation for the nonprofit
organization of his or her choice
and a recognition dinner with
the company president.

Unified School District. Key

Daffodil
Days |

|

NUMMI
participates in the American Cancer
Society’s annual Daffodil
Days fundraiser. In 2005, NUMMI
team members purchased more than
$6,000 worth of daffodils.
Team members were especially generous
when purchasing a "Gift of
Hope," an anonymous bouquet
presented to hospitalized cancer
patients.

Environmental
activities |

In
conjunction with the City of Fremont
and BFI, NUMMI hosts an annual
Compost Giveaway for Fremont residents.
Earth Day activities have included
cleanups of a local creek and

recycling |
|
